Dragon Ball: Raging Blast[b] es un videojuego basado en la franquicia de manga y anime Dragon Ball. Fue desarrollado por Spike y publicado por Namco Bandai para las consolas PlayStation 3 y Xbox 360 en Norteamérica; internacionalmente se publicó bajo el sello de Bandai. Salió a la venta en Japón, Norteamérica, Europa y Australia durante la segunda semana de noviembre de 2009. En Europa también se lanzó un pack de edición limitada del juego que incluía material extra de coleccionista.
Se trata de un juego de lucha en 3D de estilo cel-shading que permite a los jugadores encarnar a personajes del universo Dragon Ball, ya sea contra la IA del juego o contra otro jugador en uno de los diversos modos de juego, tanto en línea como sin conexión. Se trata de uno de los primeros juegos de la franquicia Dragon Ball publicados por Namco Bandai en Norteamérica, ya que la compañía adquirió la licencia de juego de Atari en julio de ese mismo año.

Las barras verdes son de salud y las amarillas de ki.El modo de juego llamado Dragon Battle Collection permite a los jugadores jugar a través de los acontecimientos originales de la historia de Dragon Ball, pero sus acciones en la batalla pueden cambiar la historia de muchas maneras diferentes[1]. Más de 100 “Battle Frames” se pueden seleccionar en cualquier momento, independientemente del orden cronológico en el que aparecen en la serie. La historia abarca desde la Saga Saiyan hasta la Saga Kid Buu. Los Battle Frames también incluyen escenarios “what-if” que nunca ocurrieron en la serie. Los jugadores pueden practicar y perfeccionar sus habilidades en el “Dojo”[2]. Los jugadores también pueden participar en los modos para un solo jugador “Super Battle Trial”[3]. El modo online incluye un “Torneo Budokai” para 16 jugadores, combates individuales o por equipos VS, y un modo espectador en el que los jugadores pueden puntuar a los luchadores[4].

The console introduced advanced graphics and sound capabilities compared to other consoles of the time. Super NES received very positive reviews and was a worldwide success, becoming the best-selling console of the 16-bit era and starred in an intense competition with Sega’s console, the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. The Super Nintendo remained popular well into the 32-bit era, with 49.1 million units sold worldwide when it was discontinued in 2003.

Dragon Ball Strongest Warrior (龙珠最强之战) is a role-playing and action game set in the work of Akira Toriyama. In it, we will live all the adventures of Son Goku since his arrival on earth as narrated at the beginning of the manganime, being able to participate in many of the events of the Dragon World, including the Z saga.
It is a real-time action game in which we will control our character through virtual controls to move and perform special attacks. Its spectacular 3D graphics, together with the possibility of moving the camera freely and zooming in on the action, make it a visual wonder that represents with ease the adventures of the Z warriors.
As we progress through the game we will unlock new characters, from the first known Kakarot as Chichi, Krilin or Yamcha to enemies that later become comrades like Piccolo or Vegeta. The roster of characters will grow, being able to use them indistinctly in certain missions.

7Analysis of PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.After the disappointment of Burst Limit, the first Dragon Ball game of the high definition era, the fans of Toriyama’s manga are waiting for this Dragon Ball: Raging Blast, a change of name for the Tenkaichi in this generation, which is the first adaptation of this particular “formula” of Dragon Ball simulation to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The Spike team has transferred to these consoles the fights of the series with the same success as in the Tenkaichi of PlayStation 2, although it is appreciated that the formula has aged somewhat, and it is difficult to imagine how to take advantage of the power of the new generation to give it a few more twists. Raging Blast recovers the essence of Tenkaichi, and will please fans of the series, but it does not have particularly “motivating” new features for users.
This novelty combines well with the other already known mechanics of the game, and gives even more importance to the need to be “desaturullados”, to move the left analog stick wildly every time our enemy stuns us with one of his blows, to get out of this state of shock and be able to block and dodge enemy attacks, to evade these deadly combinations. The super attacks are still basic for victory and spectacular in all their splendor, even more so because of the greater power of the consoles, and we can achieve extra power by invoking them for longer (as they are done with the right stick in one direction, and the more we keep it, the better), and executing a kind of interactive event at the right time, pressing the right buttons when the game asks us to do so.
